Dubai is an unforgettable destination for a business studies school trip. Dubai is one of seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates.  It is the largest city in the Federation and by far the wealthiest. From its early origins as a fishing port, the city has grown to be a global finance, aviation and tourism hub and also boasts the world's tallest building, the spectacular Burj Khalifa. You can ski indoors on artificial snow, then swim in the warm tropical waters of the Arabian Gulf. There are exciting desert jeep safaris and the opportunity to experience its traditional Bedouin lifestyle. Day 1

Flight to Dubai

Flight to Dubai: You depart today for the flight to Dubai.

Day 2

Gold Souk, Green Planet Biodome & Dubai Mall

Deira & the Gold Souk:  Today will be a relaxed day and a chance to get a flavour of Dubai. After breakfast you visit Deira, the traditional commercial hub of the city, and where the world-famous gold souk is located.

Green Planet Biodome:  After lunch you visit the Green Planet Biodome, an enclosed ecosystem which recreates the world of a tropical forest with over 3,000 plants and animals and the world’s largest man-made indoor tree.

Dubai Mall:  In the late afternoon you visit the Dubai Mall for optional shopping and where there are a number of entertainment options including an ice rink, trampolining and a virtual reality park. Outside the Mall are the famous Dubai Fountains which put on a free evening show every day except Friday.

Dinner this evening will be arranged at a city restaurant.

Day 3

Jumeirah Mosque, Museum of the Future & the Burj Khalifa

Jumeirah Mosque:  This morning you begin at the spectacular Jumeirah Mosque, one of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks and one of the very few that allow non-Muslims to visit. Tours are scheduled at 9.30am only and the tour will aid your understanding of Islam and Emirati culture.

Museum of the Future:  You then continue with a visit to the Museum of the Future located in a spectacular state of the art building. The museum is designed to give visitors a glimpse into what 2071 might look like, with a focus on virtual and augmented reality systems playing a key role. There will be a variety of futuristic experiences, including what it looks like to see the Moon from a space station 600 kilometres above Earth

Burj Khalifa:  In the afternoon you take the high-speed lift to the viewing deck of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. From the 124th and 125th floors you have breath taking views of the city from the enclosed viewing platform. Incredibly, there are another 35 occupied floors above this and a further spire to take the building height to 828 metres.

Dinner this evening will be arranged at a city restaurant.

Day 4

View at the Palm, Palm Island & 4x4 Desert Dunes Trip

View at the Palm:  This morning you visit the View at the Palm. The View on level 54 of the iconic Palm Tower offers panoramic, 360-degree views of Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf and beyond. After your visit you take the futuristic Monorail to the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah to see the development.  There will then be free time at the beach.

Desert Dunes Experience: In the afternoon a convoy of Land Cruiser 4x4s will pick you up and you will then head to the edge of the desert where the tyres are deflated, and the fun begins with a roller coaster drive skimming over the magnificent sand dunes. After the dune-bashing you head to a sunset stop and then on towards the camp. You will be welcomed with cold towels, Arabic coffee, tea and dates while the charcoal fires and the traditional oven is lit. You can relax in the Bedouin tents and watch the entertainment. Your evening ends with dinner served beneath the starry skies, before you return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 5

Camelicious, Chocolate Factory Visit, and Dubai Global Village

Camelicious:  This morning you travel into the desert to visit Camelicious, a working dairy farm where camel milk is produced. You first visit the processing area where pasteurization of the milk occurs. You then go to the actual farm for a tour of the yards where the camels are reared and can feed them carrots. You can also see the huge array of solar panels which provides renewable electricity to the facility. Adjacent to Camelicious is the Royal Dubai Camel Racing Club and if there is a race taking place, we will be able to watch and can of course sample the camel’s milk.

Mirzam Chocolate Factory Tour:  You return to Dubai and visit a Chocolate Factory. The tour starts with an introductory talk about the growing and sourcing of cocoa beans, followed by a tour and the opportunity to taste the produce.

Global Village:  In the afternoon you visit the Global Village, a kind of cultural theme park where various different countries are represented in food stalls, traditional dress, architecture and handicrafts. There are over seventy participating countries, each of which has its own pavilion shaped like their greatest monuments, so India is the Taj Mahal, China is the Forbidden City and France the Eiffel Tower. There are frequent free concerts and shows and the atmosphere is relaxed. The Global Village is a great place to for students to sample to variety of different regional cuisines

Day 6

Abu Dhabi - Ferrari World & Sheik Zayed Mosque

Ferrari World:  After breakfast you travel to the neighbouring Emirate of Abu Dhabi where you visit Yas Island. This is another artificial island, and among other things it hosts the Yas Marina circuit, Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. Our trip will include tickets to Ferrari World, an amusement park built on the theme of the adjacent F1 track and which offers an eclectic mix of amusement, culture and rides. There are rollercoasters, go-karts and other rides and attractions which allow for a full day of entertainment and interest.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: You also visit the architecturally dazzling Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the largest in Abu Dhabi and constructed out of brilliant white marble. It has the largest carpet in the world at 5627 square metres and also what is thought to be the largest marble mosaic in the world. The mosque is open to visitors until 10pm in the evening, but the best time to visit is at 5pm when it is light when you go in and dusk when you come out, which shows the mosque to its very best.

Dinner will be at a restaurant in the Abu Dhabi Mall before you return back to your hotel in Dubai.

Day 7

Flight Home

This morning you travel to the airport for your homeward flight.
