Day 1
Fly to New York
Today you depart on your flight to New York, arriving later the same day. You will be met by our guide and private transport and transfer into the heart of Manhattan to your central hotel accommodation. Once you have settled into your hotel you will have dinner at the Hard Rock Café before enjoying the bright lights and energy of Times Square and 42nd Street.
Day 2
Broadway Workshop & Statue of Liberty
This morning you have your first Broadway Workshop. Refine your acting skills with a Scene Study workshop or sharpen your skills with Theatre Games Improvisation.  The workshops typically commence at 10am and last for 90 minutes.
In the afternoon you take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, one of the most famous American icons. You will be able to access the pedestal at the base of the statue before exploring the Museum which documents the history and construction of the statue. You then continue to Ellis Island where you will visit the Immigration Museum which records the important role this island had in the processing most of the immigrants to the USA during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Dinner will be early evening at Ellen’s Stardust Diner before you attend a Broadway Show.
Day 3
Broadway Workshop & Empire State Building
This morning you have your second Broadway Workshop. This time you learn the secrets of simulated combat. Trained professionals take your students behind the scenes to discover how fights and combat are choreographed on stage. In this thrilling workshop, students actively learn how real stage combat works in a safe, collaborative environment.
In the afternoon you ride the elevator to the 86th floor observation deck near the top of the Empire State Building. The Observation Deck wraps around the building’s spire, providing 360-degree views of New York and beyond. From up here you get unique views of Central Park, The Hudson River and East River, The Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.
Dinner will be early evening at Bubba Gump Restaurant on Times Square before you attend a Theatre Performance.
Day 4
Broadway Workshop & Radio City Tour
This morning you have your third Broadway Workshop.   This time you’ll work with a Broadway dancer on original choreography from a Broadway show, from classics like West Side Story to current hits like Wicked. The workshop includes a Q&A session with a Broadway guest.
In the afternoon you do the Radio City Backstage Tour which takes you behind the scenes in the iconic Radio City Music Hall, the largest indoor theatre in the world. The interior is an incredible time capsule of the Art Deco era and during the tour you hear about the history of the venue and some of the famous names that have appeared here, from Pink Floyd to Harry Styles! You also learn about the Rockettes and their famous Show which is one of the main revenue earners for the theatre.
